Highlights :
Interesting story first. WWS started out a little differently when Romy didn't really anticipate someone else planning to use the conference room as a dance practice venue by the girls on site for an upcoming event. So for the first couple of hours, it was standing room only for the boyz sharing a single table! It was a bit crowded at first, but this of course did not faze the boyz, the gaming addicts that we are... ;)
Warmachine/Hordes Results:
Dance practice finished. Obi and Gelo able to set up and play what felt like 3 hours of 40k... Jacob enticing Gelo to monologue in between deployments. +P
Warhammer 40k Results:
Jacob back in da haus! After a little over a month stint in Europe at that. Mike was on pila balde mode, almost taking on all the WWS card players in one night.
WOWCCG Results:
Photography duties went to Kei and Kim that night, since I was too lazy ass to get the digicam back in the car which was one floor down and one building away. +P Thanks to Kim and Kei in advance for the pics. ;)

Weekday Warrior Session Twenty Seven

Highlights:
Highest Weekday Warrior turnout ever! Attendance was at a staggering high of eleven grown-up kids playing various games in all its bolter-blazing, metal-mangling, flesh-tearing, and card-flopping glory, Weekday Warrior style!
Badbeef back for some Weekday Warrior gaming after a long while. Geloman brought his brand new Lost And The Damned (+P) itching to pick a fight. Obi's got the honors of renewing hostilities with his 40k mentor... well, sorta.
Warhammer 40k Results:
Pork the Third Ork God is in da haus! His arrival to the Weekday Warrior Sessions was anything short of awe-inspiring (we almost thought it was the end of the world as we know it). A last minute text message (how he pulled that off I was too shocked to investigate...) confirmed his arrival with his Merc army for some late night Warmachine/Hordes action! Also in the haus is Kei and Koi who tagged along with Kim and Tiny for some "get your feet wet" games.
Warmachine/Hordes Results:
Mike also in the scene for the first time to try his Grennan Stormspeaker for some WOWCCG gaming! Almost immediately Obi was on him! Guess Mike was given the proper welcome after all. Lolz.
Arvin was there but contented himself in browsing through the card pools and cook up some new decks for the boyz to play with. Hehehe....

Highlights :
Obi arrives with his renegade list! At long last we'll be able to try out his Fallen Angels config! And a good opportunity to see if my Emperors Children can take on another Chaos army...
Warhammer 40k Results:
Tiny and Kim play Warmachine/Hordes! They had fun discovering the wonders of a whiteboard table surface so they can write down any spell effects or what else you might like for better visualization of the game!
Tiny learns the tough lesson of Widowmakers that get to snipe off his Long Gunners despite sitting on an Arcane Shield. He also learns of the solid running-to-engage tactic plus the value of having reach (Hunter engaged by two MOWDC; tried to escape, ended up being blown to smithereens -- they ain't called a "demolition corps" for nothing). Also to make the power attacks BEFORE the regular attacks (Thunderhead engages the Butcher, makes a regular attack then decides to throw him after... you can guess what happened next). To his credit, Tiny spammed Temporal Barrier to his advantage -- eradicating the cheerleading Manhunter and the Widowmakers.
Warmachine/Hordes Results:
Arvin arrives with birthday boy Fluffyman! Happy birthday Dude! Arvin comes over with just his card pool since his cards are somewhere in a tourney in Los Baños... Got some games in, though slightly lower in number today since Birthday Boy needs to be early tomorrow. ;)

Going through the card pools, some discussions on potential card combinations, most of which could just be scratching the surface considering what the introduction of the second set can do.
Arvin the Mad Scientist already working on potential decks for Aleyah Dawnborn, Zenith Shadowforce, Bulkas Wildmane, Azarak Wolfsblood, Morganis Blackvein, and Mojo Mender Ja'nah (kahit di pa namin alam kung pano ilaro si Ja'nah, basta ma-EA agad! Lolz.)

Tiny and Kim play Warmachine/Hordes! They had fun discovering the wonders of a whiteboard table surface so they can write down any spell effects or what else you might like for better visualization of the game!
Tiny learns the tough lesson of Widowmakers that get to snipe off his Long Gunners despite sitting on an Arcane Shield. He also learns of the solid running-to-engage tactic plus the value of having reach (Hunter engaged by two MOWDC; tried to escape, ended up being blown to smithereens -- they ain't called a "demolition corps" for nothing). Also to make the power attacks BEFORE the regular attacks (Thunderhead engages the Butcher, makes a regular attack then decides to throw him after... you can guess what happened next). To his credit, Tiny spammed Temporal Barrier to his advantage -- eradicating the cheerleading Manhunter and the Widowmakers.
