Attendance: Mike, Jesse, Kim, Lito, Joel, Martie, Lucas, Lance (if there's anyone else I missed, just post his name in the comments section of this post, thanks!)

There was total chaos at the Bunker on Independence Day. There were a lot games played including two games where two players teamed up against another pair. It was an exciting day for all.

June 12, 2009

Its been a long time since I have been really excited about Warhammer 40K . Direct from Forgeworld, our very own Reaver Titan.

The Reaver Titan color scheme will be based on the Imperial Armor V and VI's presentation of the Siege of Vraks.

Will be posting more about this project soon.

Orks were able to capture two tokens and one contested with the Dark Angels. Orks win after a very face paced game by the two warring factions.

Looking forward to see more heavy action next week.

Thunderhawk Transport

A Chaos Marine shown beside the Thunderhawk for scale

Multi-part resin pieces of the Thunderhawk

June 9, 2009

Last night, I decided to start modeling the Thunderhawk Transport I got from Forgeworld several years ago.

Day 1 - Identifying the pieces of the puzzle.

Our team started to review how the pieces of the model will fit together and went over the instruction manual. It looks huge compared to a Space Marine model.
We will be cleaning all these pieces and placing them under water with soap for a week. When we come back next Tuesday, we will be able to start scraping out the excess flash.
